Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born into an ethnically diverse family. She has a mother who is English while her father is Nigerian. She grew up in the south of a London community estate, where she attended The Brit School at age 14. In London she attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting certificate was obtained. She appeared in many performances on stage during her school days, including the King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe began acting with Storm Damage. Since then, she's been making appearances as a guest for Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film appearance was in Woody Allen's 2007 Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. She then played Elisha, a BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In her role, she also played Ollie in the six episodes of Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. In 2008, the actress was offered Bambi, the lead role on ITV2's drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was a part of the comedic How to Lose Friends and alienate others (2008). She also appeared on the screen in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path written directed by David Watson.
Madekwe made her official US debut in the 2009 drama series The Beautiful Life, which just aired two episodes for The CW before being cancelled. Ashley Davenport was her role in ABC's drama Revenge. Madekwe's departure from the series was announced in May 2013. Following two seasons as a main character, she appeared as a guest in the very first episode of season 3. From 2014 to the year 2016, she appeared on Salem in the role of Tituba. Madekwe married her long-time partner, Iddo. In addition to Secret Diary of a Call Girl they also appeared with each other on Salem and he had a part alongside her in that show.

Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into a large, extended family. She was raised by her parents Roy and Patty and four older brothers -Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. The brothers of Ashley were extremely athletic and played baseball and hockey in the summer and winter. They grew up playing the arenas and baseball. Ashley had never been able to actually walk. She would dance. At just 2 1/2 years old and a half, she was a part of Baby Ballet. Ashley developed a passion for dancing after she started Baby Ballet. Until she graduated from the high school she attended, Ashley danced competitively in the top divisions in ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, acrobatics, lyrical, musical theatre and hip hop. Ashley won the best soloist prize at each major dance competition, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, to name just some.
