Julia Fiona Roberts, born 28th October 1967 on the 28th of October, 1967 in Atlanta to Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Her grandfather, her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer was one of the first Roberts to settle in Atlanta. Her father was interested in theatre since a young stage. While studying at Emory University in 1952 he acted in productions on campus as well as in other parts of Atlanta. When he joined the Air Force and appearing in an airforce production in Biloxi along with Betty Lou Bredemus. Both married in 2005 and they had their first baby, Eric Anthony in 1956. Walter was a student at Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana after he left the Airforce in the year 1957. Walter was employed by Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1960, the family moved to Decatur Georgia. Walter as well as Betty Lou financed their own production of a local Sunday morning show for children, Bum Bum and His Buddies. They established an Actors and Writers Workshop in the year 1964, and it lasted 6 years. Lelisa Billingsley who is also referred to as Lisa, was born in 1965. Julia Billingsley followed in 1967.
