Simone Biles was an American gymnast born March 14, 1997 in the city of Columbus, Ohio. She is considered to be one of the greatest athletes. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) adopted them. They grew in the Houston metropolitan area. Simone's love for gymnastics first began at age six, during a trip with her day care group to Bannon Gymnastix. Simone remained under Aimee Borman's coaching until the year 2011. Biles has won silver and gold medals at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 in floor and vault before making her debut in 2011 with the elite division of the competition. A year later, Biles dominated the sport. Biles's consistency, her exuberant character and her high level of challenge during her four eventsvault uneven bars balance beam floor exercise and floor exercise -- set her apart.
