Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish, half-English woman was born on the 16th of April 1996, in Miami Florida. Her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor, a former bank executive, as well as Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist, she is half-Spanish and female who is half English. Their father is Argentine who is of Scottish and English heritage. Her mother hails from Spanish as well as English descent. Taylor-Joy has four siblings from her father's previous marriage. The family was in Buenos Aires until she was 6 years old. They then relocated to Victoria part of London. Taylor-Joy said it was an emotional move and she refused to learn English in the hope of be able to return to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school after she moved from Northlands. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she was a ballet student and performed in school plays. She dropped out of high school when she was 16 in order to pursue an acting career. From a young age Taylor-Joy knew that she wanted to become an actress and her dreams came true when she received a modeling job by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
